Open Call for Fellow: Untold Stories - IN-PERSON, ON-GOING

Storytelling Arts is searching for storytellers across N.J. to join their Untold Stories Fellows program. You'll train with IFC founder/director Summer Dawn and other guest artists, and enjoy the community of the Untold Stories Collective, including IFC19's Rukiya Bluford. Story Lab training sessions will be every third Monday from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the Madison Community Arts Center. Next session is March 20. Training is $40/lab. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. More info here.

Revising Out Loud - Tue. April 18 at 6 pm - IN-PERSON

Writers bring works in progress and actors/performers bring them to life in this new collaborative artist meetup. Through expressive cold reads, writers will discover new nuances in their work and performers will grow their storytelling skills. Part of a monthly series. Free. Presented by the Hoboken Public Library, 500 Park Ave., Hoboken. RSVP here.

Open mic runs from 2 to 4, sign up at 1:30. 5-minute slots. Free entry. La Sala, Newark Avenue between Brunswick and Third, Jersey City, NJ.
