Tell us a bit about yourself and your passions
My name is Chau Sa Hoang. I am an artist, actor, singer, creator, mover & shaker, as well as a wellbeing practitioner. I am passionate about being true to who you are, dreaming big, living the life you deserve to live and never settling for anything less.
What projects are you working on now?
Currently, a few friends and I have been working on a film & television series project. We have been developing an original script for some time and we are slated to start shooting this summer.
What impact would you like to have on others?
Initially, when I set out to pursue my artistic career, I wanted to move people through art. I wanted to make them feel with me and I wanted so badly to bring real stories and experiences to light. Lately, I have been discovering other sides of me that can be of service to the collective. I realized that through the art of wellbeing, I can be a vehicle to help people get in touch with their deepest wants and desires of living and cultivating a healthy & happy life.
How has In Full Color impacted you?
In Full Color has impacted me on many levels. Not only by being a platform for marginalized voices, but by being a platform for local artists in the community. And now, by also serving as a virtual platform for artists of color all over the country. IFC gave me a safe space to create and fully express myself through stories and music. Being a part of IFC is a beautiful experience. It is an honor to share the stage with so many creative and talented voices of women of color. I am humbled to be spotlit as the Alumna of the Moment, you sure do know how to make a gal feel loved.
