'You're a Star' musical assembly for kids now booking!

In Full Color's brand-new musical assembly bringing theater, song, DEI principles and SEL skills to students grades K-5 in the NJ/NY region is now booking for Fall 2023.

"You're a Star" is an original show created by and featuring singer/songwriters Ali de León, Vero Verano and Justin Galletto.

In the 35-minute program, three friends are torn apart by their differences and egos during their annual school talent show. After singing solo songs about the things that make them feel “other” (but that also make them totally unique), the singers learn to love themselves – and accept and respect each other!

The musical made its debut this May for K-2 students at Washington Elementary and Memorial Elementary in Lyndhurst, NJ.

"I highly recommend working with IFC if you are looking for engaging, sticky content and programming that effectively highlights the importance of acceptance, inclusion, and diversity in schools and the workplace," said Lisa Pierce, the 2nd VP of the Washington/Memorial PTA. "They took the time to create original content that met the unique needs of the children we support. IFC artists are some of the most creative, collaborative and talented individuals I've worked with to date."
